For this week’s travel theme “multicolored”, let me show you this intriguing hotel we stayed at in Berlin:
nHow Hotel, Berlin
– the first Music hotel of Berlin, a Lifestyle hotel
– on the banks of Spree, between Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, designed by Karim Rashid
Upon entering this 4* Hotel, we were in for a surprise for the burst of colors, omnipresent in the design, the interior of the rooms and accessories, even the frame of the built in flat screen TV in the room! Yes, the design is something different, but refreshing!
Here are a few glimpses of the intriguing multicolored sections of the NHow hotel in Berlin:
Even the tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoos and flipflops provided were pink; I still have the sift and pink flip flops!
The breakfast was delicious, the rooms comfortable and the service very friendly, helpful and efficient. In the afternoons, it was so relaxing to sit on the terrace at the river Spree and enjoy Berlin.
The hotel is in the East part of Berlin with a beautiful view over the water and conveniently close to public transport. Close to the NHow hotel is the Oberbaum Bridge – a historical landmark in Berlin separating East and West Berlin – Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.
Did you stay at a modern, life style hotel? Did you like it? What did you like the best? What not?
Do you prefer color in your life or are you the white/black/beige and brown person?

Thank u for yur article! Just where I plan to go!
The hotel sounds very exciting! Will definitely stay there!
Berlin here we come!
You are most welcome! I don’t know, if your boys would fancy sleeping in pink bed linen ;), but it is an interesting hotel with public transport close by to discover Berlin! Enjoy!!
Great hotel! Putting this one in my list! We’ve stayed a few times at a hotel I loved in Austin, Texas called Kimber Modern. Self entry with code, no lobby or concierge. Looks like a house built on a hill – ON/OF THE HILL – including the hill in it’s architecture. Walk in and up a flight of stairs and enter a world of spa like tranquility. All rooms open onto composite wood walks that circle a green oasis if plants, a couple of huge trees and a modern glass water feature. Rooms are assigned by color rather than number. A very special place. Check out the link – http://kimbermodern.com/photos/
Looks very interesting and unique! Do they have more hotels worldwide?
Did anyone note the pink telephone in the third picture 😉
loving that hotel – is it in a good location as well?
Yes- very convenient as to public transport and not too far away from the city center, if taken relatively :)!
I’ve never seen such a colorful hotel. What fun!
janet
you’d enjoy it!

Thank you so much for the compliment!! Yes, it really was an interesting hotel, with all comfort one wants for a city trip
